Privacy Policy

Sonibral is built to do one thing well and stay out of your way. This policy explains what data we collect (almost none) and how we handle it.

What We Don't Do

• No account required. No login, no profile, no email needed to use the app.
• No data collection. We don't track what you listen to, how long you use the app, or how you interact with it.
• No analytics or tracking. We don't use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.
• No data sales. We do not sell, share, rent, or monetize your personal data in any way.
• No microphone access. Sonibral does not request or use your microphone.

Audio Processing

All audio is generated locally on your device in real time using the app's built-in DSP engine. No audio is recorded, streamed, uploaded, or transmitted. Nothing leaves your device.

Subscriptions & Payments

Sonibral offers an optional paid subscription through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Sonibral does not receive, store, or have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID.

Background Audio

Sonibral uses the background audio capability so it can continue playing when your device is locked or another app is in the foreground. This is essential for sleep and meditation use. No data is collected or transmitted during background playback.

Third-Party Services

Sonibral uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and subscription status from Apple — no personal information such as your name, email, or payment details is shared. RevenueCat does not receive any usage data from Sonibral.

Children's Privacy

Sonibral does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require or request any personal information from any user of any age.

Data Storage

Sonibral stores your selected preferences (brain state, tone, timer setting) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the revised version here with a new date. Since we don't collect your contact information, we can't notify you directly — but given how little data we handle, meaningful changes are unlikely.
